Our Mission

From 2015 through 2019, more than 1.2 million refugees arrived in Greece from countries where armed conflict is ongoing. Some of them remain in the country, but often have difficulty integrating into society, getting access to education, and finding jobs to support themselves and their families.

Ray of Hope is dedicated to helping refugees empower themselves by expanding their educational pursuits and becoming active citizens. Our philosophy is to provide these students with an opportunity to gain crucial life skills that they may not receive through basic schooling. Through educational workshops and resource-building initiatives, Ray of Hope aims to help these students gain the self-confidence to seize their future in their hands and feel confident in their goals, both personal and professional.
